Fina undergoes the SAS 70 audit of its computer operation, information security, application change control and data communications to ensure the highest level of internal control. The SAS 70 certification by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is designated as an acceptable method for a Michael C. Fina customer to obtain assurance about the company’s internal controls and processing of sensitive information.
